CNET Content Solutions (CCS) is the world’s leading independent source of product information, rich content and e-commerce solutions for e-commerce sites from SMB to Enterprise. We have a comprehensive portfolio of products & services to serve the channel (manufacturers, distributors, retailers, e-tailers, VARs, and marketplaces) including DataSource, PartnerAccess, ContentCast, Guided Selling, Premium Content, and ChannelOnline. The Account Executive is responsible for managing all aspects of sales generation for his/her assigned territory in order to consistently meet or exceed territory sales goals. Responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise manufacturer relationships as well as identifying incremental and new sales opportunities. The role requires the candidate to travel (50%) to meet partners face to face.
Work with existing manufacturers on ROI of their programs and identify opportunities for upsell
Identify set of prospects and put together strategic plan on targeting the key decision maker with the right solution
Develop account and territory strategies for long term development and revenue growth
Update annual/quarterly forecast using SalesForce
Work with internal teams on creating value proposition for manufacturers and transforming requirements into solution
Work with internal and external partners to translate reporting into ROI value prop
Travel across North America and the world working with your enterprise accounts on global opportunities.
Unique opportunity to help CNET Content Solutions target new verticals such as; CPG, sporting goods, grocery, health & beauty manufacturers and become the leader in the industry
Our manufacturer Saas platform is consistently evolving to meet market needs, your input based on experience and partner feedback plays a large role in influencing the product roadmap.
Partner with other divisions of CBS Interactive to promote cross departmental solutions to our clients (example: CNET.com content)
Represent CNET Content Solutions at industry events (in NA and Globally)
What you bring to the team:
5 - 7 years of solution selling
3 years of internet sales
Experience working with manufacturers across verticals (CPG, IT, CE, Sporting Goods)
BA/BS or equivalent training and experience
Proven success meeting sales goals in online environment
Engaging leadership style who values teamwork and development
You might also have:
- Understanding of SEO content and how it can impact revenue for partners
