The Digital Media Coordinator provides support to the digital sales department on a day-to-day basis. The Digital Media Coordinator needs to be comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and is responsible for accurate data entry, follow through on campaign assets, and overseeing of digital campaigns from booking through accounting reconciliation. They are the liaison between Sales and the internal ad ops team and third party media vendors, and will provide administrative and customer service support. The Digital Media Coordinator will also have design and creative skills to assist in the creation of digital assets and interest in HTML Traffic of Digital Assets: It is the assistant’s responsibility to keep track of all the digital elements that need to be trafficked for all campaigns and route them to the appropriate in-house traffic dept. or third party media vendors. The assistant will need to contact the Digital Sales Specialist (DSS) and/or Account Executives to request all assets needed prior to the start of the campaign. Accounting: it is the assistant’s responsibility to gather all the data and communicate with accounting every Monday to show proof of delivery of all digital campaigns. In case of discrepancies, these must be noted as well. Any discrepancies such as under-delivery must be resolved by obtaining clearance for make good from DSM or AE, or for issuance of credit., Reporting: it is the assistant’s responsibility to obtain the campaign final reports and forward them to the DSS, DSM, and AE’s as needed. Campaign Tracking: The assistant must track start and end dates of sales campaign and monitor the life of the campaign, troubleshoot anything that might be going wrong, and optimize for timely delivery. Creative Design: Assist in the designing of Power Point Presentations, special sales event invites, and create digital banners for display campaigns as needed.
Required: Must be able to enter data accurately. Must be a detail-oriented person. Must be able to work well with others as well as individually. Highly motivated to assist others on the team, "know how to prioritize with ease in a deadline driven environment. Must be resourceful, Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), and HTML. 4 yr. college degree, strongly preferred.
