CBS Studios International is the leading supplier of programming to the international television marketplace, licensing to more than 200 markets in more than 60 languages across multiple media platforms. The Studio participates in international channel ventures, currently comprised of 18 channels in 24 languages across over 100 territories, reaching more than 70 million households worldwide. The division distributes content from CBS Television Studios, CBS Television Distribution, Showtime, CBS News, CBS Films and a library of more than 70,000 hours of programming. CBS Studios International is seeking a Director, Client Relations & Communications. This role will serve as primary point of contact for international broadcast, cable and digital television clients specifically around publicity and talent activity. This highly motivated individual must have a thorough understanding of international television publicity campaigns, direct client relations experience, strong writing skills and the ability to collaborate with other stakeholders. We are seeking a dynamic, articulate, organized and energetic individual who will thrive in a fast-paced, growing operation.


  • Create and implement strategic plans to enhance current client relationships

  • Effective management of day-to-day client relationships and expectations

  • Provide proactive leadership to clients

  • Direct and develop a range of materials including articles, brochures, press releases, video content, speeches, presentations and collateral materials to support the PR, sales and marketing teams

  • Efficiently and effectively plan and manage large-scale events

  • Work with the studio show publicists to develop and guide media relations strategy

  • Ability to think and operate independently

  • Manage public relations events, such as HFPA conferences, press junkets and other ceremonies/events

  • Ensure that all PR information and content is shared across relevant parties including clients, CBS Studios International executives, show publicists and other parts of the company


  • Strong writer and communicator

  • Analytical skills and a strategic orientation to assess situations and create strategies that drive positive outcomes

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail

  • An enthusiastic and optimistic approach

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to adapt to a variety of various protocols and cultures

  • 7- 10 years PR experience
