Showtime Networks Inc. This temporary position will help support in the workflow processes for domestic and international digital distribution. Responsibilities include creating and sending POs to the encoding vendor for ingestion and transcoding of video and audio content, and help facilitate the creation of foreign language subtitles and/or foreign language audio creation; providing artwork; curating, organizing and translating (when applicable) metadata; selecting preview timecodes; setting up playlists on partners' portals when required; and obtaining, proofreading and reformatting foreign language dub cards. This position is also responsible for ensuring asset retention and archival back-up of newly created and repurposed foreign language audio, video and subtitle format files, as well as facilitating assets to vendors. This person will also assist in creating forced narrative subtitle references.

This person will also provide support with BD/DVD master creation by helping supply materials for C&A, subtitling and censorship, assisting with VAM and menu creation and menu proofing, and sending notification correspondence. Help facilitate legal approvals between SNI and PHE for home entertainment consumer packaging and promotional marketing campaigns. Assist with international licensee territory DVD releases, providing content and aiding in QC and approval of licensee check discs.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Technical knowledge of film, video and audio specifications and physical elements required. A working knowledge of digital media formats also required. This person should have an understanding of distribution and demonstrate managerial and organizational skills.


BA or BS degree in Communications or Film/TV preferred.

4+ years facility, post-production, or New Media experience.
