DESCRIPTION:

WFAN AM/FM, The radio home of the New York Yankees, is looking for Sports Account Executives to represent and sell the NEW YORK YANKEES Radio Network.

This position requires a hard working, self starting, and aggressive sales oriented individual. You must understand and respect brands and how they can be integrated. Applicants should have experience at least one or more of the following: Sports Sponsorship Sales, Sports or Radio, New Business Development, Conceptual Selling, and/or Strategic/ Multi Level Selling Skills.

The key to this position will be to prospect and develop relationships with key Local and Regional decision makers, and CLOSE BUSINESS. This position sells both the English and Spanish language broadcasts of the Yankees radio network as well as other CBS Radio assets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicant must have at least one of the following skills: Sports Sponsorship Sales, Sports or News Radio, New Business Development, Conceptual Selling, and/or Strategic/ Multi Level Selling Skills.

Must be a sales "hunter"

Experience integrated sales, including digital & live events.

Superior communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and cooperatively.

Excellent customer skills.

Must have a valid drivers licence.
