The Associate Manager, Operations will be passionate about email, analytics, and project management. This position will provide support for all aspects of execution including production, testing, deployment and reporting/analytics. The successful candidate will excel at supporting cross-team communications and processes to deliver measurable, error-free campaigns and projects on time. He or she will act as a liaison in facilitating partnerships related projects to ensure completion according to the timeline.
Support the execution of the email production process and creation of all emails, including coding of the creative assets from Photoshop mock-ups for email templates, meticulous QA of the programs and campaigns, segmentation of the data, and ensuring flawless execution. This will also include rendering testing of all versions of each email campaign to improve email performance.
Maintain a current understanding of Email Marketing best practices (layout and development); emails must be optimized for deliverability, mobile rendering and best possible open rates.
Adhere to the email request process and coordinate timeline and deliverables with all the proper channels.
Partner with marketing operations manager at the finish of the campaign to report on results and provide recommendations for additional sends and ideas for achieving better engagement and improving conversions.
Understand milestones, success metrics, reporting requirements and segmentation where necessary.
Work with partnerships manager to assist on projects involving external platform partners, such as Amazon, Roku and Microsoft, to execute on promotional opportunities for CBS All Access on-device, online, and in-store.
Maintain reporting for partner promotions, capturing and sharing live examples of promotions for wider team distribution.
Support production and launch of the email campaigns for the latest CBS All Access Original Series, Star Trek: Discovery, as well as premieres for other new shows and current hit series
Build dashboards to track testing results and campaign performance to inform new campaigns
Work on the production of the automated email campaigns series to acquire new subscriptions and improve retention rate
Coordinate App Store product descriptions across devices to highlight our premium and ever-changing content and drive downloads and ultimately, trials
What you bring to the team:
Email marketing experience with minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in high-volume email marketing environment
Proven understanding of email best practices and broad knowledge of digital marketing to ensure email messages are properly developed to meet industry standards
Must be a driven individual who can multi-task and thrives in a fast-paced company with experience using email marketing platforms to create a campaign from beginning to end
Proficient with HTML and responsive design
Ability to work under firm deadlines and within a rapidly changing environment
An effective communicator with strong troubleshooting, escalation and resolution follow-up skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects
Creative project management experience
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
You may also have--
Experience supporting or assisting e-commerce or subscription services
Experience setting up campaigns in ExactTarget (Journey Builder)
Experience working in entertainment industry
Exposure to Omniture or other web analytics tools
