DESCRIPTION:

Associate will support the Corporate Development Group to evaluate all CBS M&A and business development initiatives in both traditional and new media. The candidate will work actively with all CBS divisions and will gain extensive exposure to the company’s operations. The associate will be required to build advanced financial models, conduct due diligence and prepare board presentations. In addition, the associate will support the forecasting and budgeting process. Other responsibilities include various internal projects for the Chief Operating Officer and analyzing other strategic initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years of investment banking, buy-side or sell-side research or similar experience. Candidate must have a solid knowledge of finance and accounting, and strong writing skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills; self-motivated. Candidate must be able to work within a team setting but also be a self-motivator who is comfortable working independently, understanding the tasks that need to be accomplished and the timeframe around those tasks.
