The Creative Director, Digital Media will provide thought leadership and creative solutions for SHOWTIME’s digital marketing objectives. He/she will lead a diverse and focused team of Art Directors, Designers and Copywriters, and will collaborate with various Showtime marketing groups including Digital Marketing, Editorial, Production, Distributor and Subscription Marketing teams to produce websites, image assets, digital advertising and experiences. From a digital creative perspective, he/she will support the network’s overall digital marketing goals including driving awareness and tune-in for Showtime’s programming as well as higher conversion and retention rates for SHOWTIME over the Internet.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Editorial and Production teams in a "design studio" environment to develop and test new pages / features on that seamlessly integrate with the current design experience across desktop and mobile

  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Program Marketing, and Distributor/Subscription Marketing teams to develop digital assets, banner ads and websites for SHOWTIME’S digital and social channels

  • Lead a collaborative, diverse and focused team of Art Directors, Designers and Copywriters. Adapt creative processes to ensure team is running as efficiently as possible

  • Work with Creative Services and Program Marketing to insure that creative is consistent and on brand

  • Provide thought leadership and creative solutions that result in higher conversion for SOI email marketing

  • Manage the relationship with internal marketing, product partners and executives.

  • Provide creative consulting to ensure digital tactics produced externally are usable and on brand

  • Creative concepting for marketing initiatives



Design Experience:

  • 8+ years experience in a creative leadership role with a minimum of 6 years of digital experience.

  • Proven strong visual design skills (solid knowledge in layout, typography and storytelling), with a sensitivity to user-system interaction.

  • Ability to develop and work within existing concepts is essential.

  • Experience in responsive web design across desktop, tablet and mobile.

  • Experience with an agile/"design studio" workflow.

  • Experience with creating and overseeing creative across multiple Social Media platforms.

  • Experience in creating mobile and digital advertising.

  • Experience in following and maintaining a strict style guide and component-based design system.
