DESCRIPTION:

Looking for an ambitious creative story coordinator who is looking for a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing digital team. We manage all of the content for three music radio station websites. You have an in-depth knowledge and passion for online media and radio. You can identify digitally driven news, find a viral video before it’s seen by millions and know how to put a story together. You’re a go-getter who can juggle many tasks such as writing an article, pitching stories, tracking down video-owners, operating a camera, etc.

Responsibilities

Support New York radio stations in all aspects of digital content which appears on station websites, social media platforms and national syndicated partners.

Operate a camera for field shoots, run a tri-caster for interviews.

Posting content on social media platforms, websites and YouTube channels for multiple radio stations.

Assist in researching and originating question ideas and creative concepts for artist interviews.

Pitch local radio station content to national teams for exposure and syndication.

Identifying audio moments from radio for digital publication.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA or BS degree, 1-2 years experience in digital editorial, video or social media experience for a news publisher or media outlet.

You can adapt to ever-changing situation and can work in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding online digital content with ability to engage national and local audience.

Experience using Wordpress, shooting video, social media, digital video, embed codes and audio capture tools.
