DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Premiere video editor that excels in a fast-paced, highly demanding online "web" video environment. The ideal candidate will have an intermediate to advanced understanding of video editing software, as well as an ability to learn and implement other proprietary software and technologies utilized during the production process.

  • Edit and publish content from CBS Sports Network on-air programming for use on CBSSports.com, CBS Outernet, and YouTube

  • Create marketing and promotional digital video content for distribution via social and mobile platforms

  • Encode to multiple formats and create links for internal/external distribution

  • Distribute links to published clips to select department heads and key employees inside CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network

  • Coordinate with CBSSports.com for content share to syndicate to CBSSports.com player

  • Manage relationships with CBSSports.com producers and managing editors to integrate CBS Sports Network content online while furthering CBSSports.com’s goals

  • Manage after-hours freelance digital editors

  • Coordinate with Rights & Clearances, Remotes, Studio, Features, and Promos on relevant content syndication

  • Supply requested sales elements from studio and remote programming

  • Primary liaison with Sales, Studio, and Rights & Clearances on sponsored programming syndication

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro editing

  • Excellent Sports Knowledge

  • Able to work flexible hours and schedule

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and copy editing

  • Experience in Social Media

  • Team player
