DESCRIPTION:

The International Tax team (Director, Senior Manager, Manager and an Accountant) seeks an International Tax Analyst to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of US based International Information Return Forms 5471, 8858, 8865 and various related work papers.

  • Assist with the first review of the quarterly tax provision packages & effective tax rate analysis and the reconciliation of pretax income of foreign affiliate’s books.

  • Assist with the preparation of various Forms : 8802, 8832, SS-4 to be filed with US tax authorities (IRS).

  • Assist with filing of other tax compliance obligations to be filed with various foreign tax authorities.

  • Assist with the request, maintenance and monitoring of all foreign tax documentation from the foreign affiliates.

  • Perform tax research as needed for compliance reporting and tax planning issues.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

  • 1-2 years' accounting experience (tax experience is not required)

  • Desire and interest in a career in International Tax

  • Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, vlookups and formulas) as well as proficient MS Word and Outlook.

  • Possess strong reconciliation and analytical skills

  • Able to work independently, prioritize projects and problem solve

  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills and work ethic. Also able to work and interact in a collaborative, team environment.
