CBS Sports Network, the 24-hour cable home of CBS Sports, airs more than 400 live games annually, showcasing an array of college and professional sports, as well as in-depth studio shows, documentaries and original programs. CBS Sports Network also provides extensive shoulder programming around CBS Sports’ Championship events, including the Super Bowl, The Masters and PGA Championship.

The Communications Manager will serve as Lead Publicist for CBS SPORTS NETWORK, the 24-hour cable home of CBS SPORTS.
In addition, Manager will be involved in general publicity efforts for the entire CBS Sports Division, highlighted by the NFL, NCAA DIVISION I MEN’S BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP, SEC FOOTBALL and PGA TOUR.
Primary responsibility will be promotion of CBS SPORTS NETWORK properties, partners and programming, including coverage of college football and college basketball, as well as Professional Bull Riders (PBR), Tough Mudder, Lucas Oil Off Road Racing and more, as well as publicity for a myriad of studio shows, including NFL MONDAY QB, THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW (TOPS), INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL, WE NEED TO TALK and INSIDE COLLEGE BASKETBALL.
Manage interviews requests for CBS SPORTS NETWORK announcers and production personnel, and assist with Internal Communications.
Coordinate with social media team as it relates to CBS Sports announcements and programming.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
Minimum three-years experience in Public Relations or Corporate Communications, preferably in Sports or Media industry.
Experience and knowledge of social media as it relates to promotion.
Familiarity with the sports industry, both the business of sport and relating to day-to-day news and trends.
Excellent communication and writing skills required, with experience drafting press releases with dealing with the media.
