CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft. Worth), KPIX-TV and KBCW-TV (San Francisco), WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV (Boston), WUPA-TV (Atlanta), WWJ-TV and WKBD-TV (Detroit), KSTW-TV (Seattle), WTOG-TV (Tampa-St. Petersburg), WCCO-TV (Minneapolis), KCNC-TV (Denver), WFOR-TV and WBFS-TV (Miami), KOVR-TV and KMAX-TV (Sacramento), KDKA-TV and WPCW-TV (Pittsburgh), WJZ-TV (Baltimore), as well as WCCO-TV’s satellite stations KCCO-TV (Alexandria, Minn.) and KCCW-TV (Walker, Minn.).
Responsibilities include the following:
Monitor telephones for Executive Department
Receive and write up avail requests from agency buyers.
Receive orders via phone, fax and/or Account Executive.
Order entry into Internal Computer Programs.
Review Station pending folders on a daily basis.
Review and mail contracts reflecting new and revised orders.
Enter agency order modifications.
Maintain files by Agency, Account and Market.
Review daily makegoods with Account Executives.
Approve makegoods via computer programs.
Maintain makegoods binders for each Account Executive.
Generate exact times for clients on an agency request basis.
Investigate and resolve agency billing discrepancies with Account Executives.
Notify agency of missing traffic instructions and/or tapes.
Reconcile checks on the log to JP Morgan Chase to ensure that checks received were processed by the bank.
For Controller, pull the following on an as needed basis: Order Item Summaries; invoices and Billing Detail Reports
Input business expenses into TREX (T&E Application) for the President, Sales
Generate Travel & Business Expense Request Authorization forms in Sharepoint for the Executive Dept.
Create purchase requisitions in Oracle Procurement for Executive Dept.
General office duties
Must be results-oriented, innovative and demonstrate leadership.
Computer skills are a must including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook,Access and the proficiency to learn new programs.
Face-to-face and phone communication skills are essential.
Must possess ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve.
