Looking for an ambitious senior digital producer to join our fast-growing CBS Radio digital team. You live and breathe the news cycle and know how to create, find and execute daily quick-turnaround trending, music and hard news video segments for website, social, and partner sites.
Someone who has worked in a newsroom before and can adapt to telling any type of story. You know your audience and can produce entertainment, original interviews, hard news, viral video, or human interest story in less than 2 hours. You know how to identify a video, moment or soundbite before it garners press and can find engaging content.
Experience with voice-over work preferred. Knowledge of fair-use guidelines, licensing, original interviews is essential.
Rate and samples of producing for digital required for consideration for this position.
Writing, producing, managing and publishing up to 15 digital videos daily
Excellent headline-writing skills with SEO optimization
Pitching content to internal websites, partners and outside media
Planning advance features utilizing radio interviews, talent, holidays, anniversaries, etc.
BA or BS degree, 5+ years experience digital content production or entertainment/news video producing
Understanding online digital content and finding stories that appeal to a national and local radio audience
Experience using digital video players, embed codes, partner XML feeds
Ability to multitask and adapt to a changing environment
Full-Time freelance with the opportunity to turn into a permanent position
