The CBS Television Distribution group at CBS Interactive creates video-based desktop, mobile, and app experiences for our syndicated television brands, including: Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, Rachael Ray, Doctor Phil, and The Doctors. The team works across broadcast and digital to deliver premium video, social, and mobile experiences.

DESCRIPTION:

The Rachael Ray Show is currently focused on digital audience growth and seeking a data-driven, yet creative individual to manage our social strategy and execution, in a fast-paced TV environment.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in managing Facebook for a high velocity publisher.

This role will collaborate with all functions of The Rachael Ray Show. Communication, passion and drive are key characteristics that will help an individual thrive in this environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with the managing editor to develop + execute a social media strategy focused on FB traffic growth + engagement across other key social channels

Daily posting of Rachael Ray Show + 3rd party content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, YouTube + Pinterest

Work with the managing editor + audience development team to always be testing - content mix/frequency - for optimization based on KPIs

Manage schedule of email newsletters; write copy + build

Provide clear, insightful reporting on the key performance metrics on a regular basis, as well as on-the-fly stats and reports as needed

Establish a clear channel of communication with the CBS digital team + Rachael Ray Show production team, providing timely insight into the content mix performing on social media; and work quickly to optimize that

Oversee the production of Facebook Live, original native video shoots + Snapchat takeovers

Work with the managing editor + integration/sales team to develop, package + distribute branded content across social media platforms as needed

Stay on top of trending topics + communicate opportunities for growth

Conduct analysis on client + competitor social strategies

MEASUREMENT:

This role will be measured on audience growth. Specifically, the key metrics which directly drive our top business goals.

Growth of unique visits to rachaelrayshow.com

Growth of Rachael Ray Show social fans

Growth of email newsletter subscribers

Growth of engagement metrics including video views, likes, shares and comments

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years experience in managing data-driven content strategies on Facebook for a high velocity publisher

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong creative eye

Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines

Willingness to work early, late and/or on weekends, if necessary

Passion for pop culture and social media

Video production experience

Influencer strategy know-how
