CBS Local Digital Media has an opportunity for a veteran of the armed services to participate in a fall internship program. The Veteran Intern will gain experience in our Finance department.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Generate weekly financial and business metrics using Excel

  • Assist in business analysis and potential revenue forecasting

  • Support accounts payable

  • Generate monthly financial reports

  • Assist staff on various projects and ad-hoc requests


  • Bachelor’s degree or working towards an advanced degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline (Junior or Senior only)

  • Previous work experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Verbal and written communication

  • Leadership and organizational skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet

  • The desire to learn about Digital Media

  • A passion for Digital
