DESCRIPTION:

CBD is looking for a Sr. Technical Engineer with deep technical knowledge and demonstrable experience in managing Infrastructure Security Operations to assist with an enterprise antivirus deployment. This is a new team that will be stood up to manage enterprise wide security tools, like antivirus. Experienced security professionals are being sought out to assist with this effort, along with our enterprise patch and secure credentials efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Support, manage and maintain two production environments

  • Testing in non-production and applying version updates to anti-virus solution in production

  • Maintaining the health of agents

  • Building and automating reports for agent health, scan results, etc

  • Managing the capacity and capabilities of the environment

  • Enhancing the design as needed to support new functionality and resolve issues

  • Certification of new antivirus or Operating systems versions within the environment as they are released

  • Management of anti-virus polices and processing of exemptions

  • Facilitate and manage the rollout of antivirus across the enterprise

  • Creating administrative trees for business units and sites

  • Building training materials for managing antivirus and performing training sessions with site administrators

  • Assisting site administrators with deployment of policies

  • Provide troubleshooting support and advanced analysis of requests within the anti-virus environment for both Windows, OS X and NAS

  • Preparation and maintenance of documentation

  • Cross-training other Infrastructure Security Operations team members on duties and functions, and receiving cross-training to learn additional duties and functions to provide backup

  • Participation in disaster recovery testing

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills/Experience Required:

  • 5 - 7 years’ experience as a Anti-Virus Security administrator

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience as a Windows administrator

  • Experience with OS X

  • Experience with VMware ESXi

  • Working knowledge of Enterprise NAS technologies

  • Ability to quickly pick up new knowledge of specific applications within the environment

  • Strong attention to details with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide resolution

  • Demonstrates constant consideration of risks and impacts especially with regards to changes such as security patching (i.e., change management)

  • Scripting ability preferred (PowerShell, VBScript plus WMI extensions)

  • Not required, but experience with IBM BigFix, IBM QRadar, Password Manager Pro, Archer, Leiberman ERPM, Centrify and other security tools a plus

Educational Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in related field

  • Graduate Degree in Computer Science highly desired
