DESCRIPTION:

We have an immediate need for a prolific and experienced Talent Researcher/Sourcer to join our Human Resources Team in New York.

CBS Radio is engaged and passionate about attracting exceptional talent to the business. Currently in a period of growth and transformation, our Human Resources team is seeking to bring in a new team member who has a strong sourcing background and thrives in a high-tech, fast-paced and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is a key member of the Human Resources team who will serve as a subject matter expert in Talent Acquisition Sourcing. The primary focus of this position is to drive results and impact the bottom-line by providing insight, creativity and staying current on innovative sourcing techniques to achieve all elements of the recruiting cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the HR team to build effective sourcing and assessment strategies to achieve hiring results

  • Builds and maintains network of passive candidates; understands and implements on-going relationship management

  • Cold-call passive candidates, screen, and assess candidates to determine job fit

  • Manages pipeline volume and velocity

  • Participates in special projects/recruiting initiatives

  • Adherence to internal company processes associated with all aspects of recruiting

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of sourcing experience in a research capacity for candidate generation within the media and technology industry

  • Experience sourcing for media roles including: technology, product, finance, audio and video production

  • Ability to continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to sourcing and delivering candidates

  • Successful track record of achieving targets such as deadlines and recruiting goals

  • Self-starter with an incredible work ethic and team first mentality

  • Exceptionable ability to tell the company's story in a way that speaks to a job seeker's motivation, career goals, and interests

  • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer branding, candidate management and diversity sourcing

  • Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail

  • Excellent collaboration skills

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
