CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft. DESCRIPTION:

Report for KPIX-TV news programs. Must be able to shoot, gather, assemble and explain information on all kinds of local and national news stories. Must be able to write in a clear and engaging manner and edit video and graphics to bring the story to life. Strong ad-lib and liveshot skills a must, along with ability to develop sources and story ideas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

Should have at least six years of comparable television experience, with a minimum of 3 years as a reporter, working in local market or network television news. Must have strong oral communication skills. Experience shooting and editing on Final Cut Pro desired. Collaborate effectively with a wide range of personnel in order to do live reporting in an engaging manner. Familiarity with the Bay Area extremely helpful. College degree required or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to operate keyboard with accuracy and speed, and have a valid driver's license in order to drive to reporting locations.
