The Revenue Optimization Analyst will be part of the Media group, supporting revenue-driving efforts for CBSi’s television and music sites. This role will partner primarily with internal teams to optimize revenue; definition of success for the larger Media Group Revenue Optimization team is based primarily on the portfolio’s ability to meet or exceed budget goals, whereas success for this role will be measured in the incremental gains rolling up to the larger goals.
This individual will be responsible not only for optimizing existing revenue-generating programs but also for ideating, proposing, testing, and implementing new revenue opportunities.
This individual will support a variety of monetization programs including but not limited to: direct-sold display advertising, search, programmatic, native, and cost-per-click programs, as well as affiliate and rev share programs both on desktop and mobile platforms.
Project-manage, develop requirements, implement, and report findings of revenue-focused A/B and multivariate testing, with an emphasis on ownership of data accumulation and analyzing.
Conduct research on the market landscape, business development opportunities, and key advertisers.
Partner with cross-functional teams like Product Marketing, Sales, Editorial, Business Intelligence, Yield, Finance, Product, Engineering, Client Services, Business Development, Research, and Ad Ops to develop and maintain the tools and resources necessary to hit revenue goals.
Responsible for day to day management and optimization of Performance Programs
Provide user support as well as build and maintain and build strategic business reports critical to day to day operations
Develop reporting and dashboard function as well as provide business intelligence analytics
Assist in basic and advanced new user training

1-2 years of relevant experience in technology, digital media and/or advertising.
You are a consummate multi-tasker with a shown ability hit deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects.
You have a "driver" personality: You’re action-oriented, collaborative and you never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery.
You have a mind both for the minutiae while possessing the communication skills necessary to summarize complex data into easy-to-comprehend elevator pitches.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Excellent communication skills; must be able to translate complex data into key messages
The individual will possess a BA/BS degree (or equivalent training and experience)
Must successfully pass a background check.
