Duties: Serve as a member of the Download Desktop/Mobile Web/Native App design team and assist in the ongoing product evolution to CBSi’s suite of iOS, Android, and mobile web products. Transform complex concepts into simple, approachable mobile experiences that are easy to use and visually balanced, across any device. Assist with the workings of the media publishing business along with the inner workings of the Download.com brand. Work with team partners in the creation of the next phase of its product offerings. Utilize critical skills to transform complex concepts into simple, approachable web and mobile experiences that are easy to use and visually balanced, and work across any device. Increase user engagement and longer page session times for our customers. Work across a broad variety of disciplines, including Product, Engineering, and Analytics among a diverse and geographically dispersed team. Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, InVision Enterprise a Sketch in the execution, collaboration and distribution of design work. Sell and defend ideas to the many internal stakeholders across the organization. Function as a creative lead within a diverse team environment. Listen to the needs of internal customers and translate this into a cohesive visual / functional language that serve the evolving needs of the product experience. Create designs that are monetized with display, native and programmatic advertising. Learn our business model which is one that creates access paths to features, functions and contents - while selling ads to targeted consumers within a purchase funnel.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. Must have two years of UX, UI and visual design experience. The two years of experience must include experience with simple-to-use interface design; high-fidelity mockups and interaction flows; devising functional prototypes; developing new solutions to complex discovery / consumption problems; modern and user focused web/mobile design best practices; and Adobe Creative Suite. The two years of experience must include one year of experience with the following tools: Sketch, InVisionApp, Proto.io, UXPin, Axure, Balsamiq. Must successfully pass a background check.
