DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for assessing the credit risk of new clients, both domestic and international, by analyzing financial statements, credit bureau reports and various other sources of information

  • Build and maintain relationships with global clients, sales departments, executives, Business Affairs, and other finance and accounting staff to:

  • Collections of accounts receivable

  • Resolve disputes with global clients regarding billing, payments, etc.

  • Month-end reporting

  • Perform reconciliations


Understand and suggest improvements on daily business processes while improving internal controls


Knowledge of letters of credit involving international banks is preferred, but not mandatory


Ability to research and problem solve independently but also work with larger group on a daily basis


Provide monthly forecasts of cash receipts


Prepare ad hoc projects for management

QUALIFICATIONS:


Bachelor’s degree required (accounting, finance or business)


Proficient in Excel, Outlook


IBM Cognos knowledge preferred, but not mandatory


Minimum of 3 years of corporate finance and accounting experience, credit and collections experience preferred* Entertainment/Media experience preferred, but not mandatory
