CBS Radio Detroit's FM Sports Station, 97.1 The Ticket is seeking Talent to create and deliver a daily entertainment and sports information program. Essential duties and responsibilities:
Perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
Digital multimedia and social media experience with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms
Produce video content for station website and social media outlets including Facebook live and other source
Prepare and research for broadcast.
Not only having the ability to be a strong radio presence, but also must be comfortable on camera and video on a regular basis.
Protect the station’s FCC license.
Monitor the shows and commercial logs for the airshift.
Ensuring that promotions and contests are executed properly.
Making personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts.
Other duties as required by management.
Required: 5 years of major market experience. Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills; must have solid productions skills and a strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution, including on-air digital systems such as Audio Vault and RCS Master Control. Must be a social media expert with in depth knowledge of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Knowledge of the format and audience required. Excellent on-air voice with demonstrated track record required. 4-year degree preferred.
