DESCRIPTION:

A CBS Radio web producer must enjoy music and have knowledge of today’s pop culture. Day to day responsibilities include spotting and generating lifestyle, personality, and pop culture articles, editing jock blogs, running the stations' social media feeds and engaging the audience there, building contest pages, posting events and concert listings, creating videos and photo galleries. Must be available nights and weekends for live blogging and producing social media for events and station promotions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements include excellent writing/editing and communication skills; at least basic photography, video editing and graphic design. Enthusiasm and a good attitude with the ability to work well with many different personality types is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of the overall digital team.

Social media skills with an excellent understanding of Facebook and Twitter are required. Journalism background is a plus; wordpress experience is desirable; Photoshop knowledge is essential; at least basic video editing skills preferable.
