*Primarily responsible for monitoring levels of security services and responding to security incidents.
*Manage and maintain Firewall systems and IPS along with VPN access controls.
*Support in detecting, understanding and resolving information security incidents and remediation.
*Manage vulnerability assessment and develop mitigation strategies.
*Plan for penetration testing and analyze detecting breaches.
*Research data and voice security best practices and regulatory requirements; establish policies, standards and procedures.
*Maintain regulatory standards and compliance for PCI, SOX, NIST Cybersecurity Framework Assessment, Risk Reduction initiatives, and Corporate information security policies.
*Review and manage local security policy, which includes, but not limited to, MDM, Endpoint, ISE and ACL.
*Periodic review to establish best practices enhancement for system protocols and principles.
*Perform log management and conduct incident response review and reporting.
*Perform risk analysis to identify points of vulnerability and recommend disaster recovery strategies and business continuity planning.
*Promote security awareness and training.
*3+ years of relevant IT security, IT operations, and/or SOC experience.
*Must be knowledgeable of Windows, UNIX/LINUX, Mac operating systems and their security architecture.
*Must possess a strong understanding of networking standards and protocol.
*Solid understanding of host/ network common vulnerabilities and exploits (CVEs), hacker methodologies and tactics, and the tools used.
*Experience with security event and vulnerability management platforms
*Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
*Be a self-starter, work independently, and adjust to changing priorities.
*Relevant industry security certifications (SANs GIAC, CISSP, etc.) a plus.
*Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
