CBS Entertainment Law department seeks experienced Administrative Assistant to support several Attorneys in a fast paced, team oriented environment. This is not a paralegal position.

  • Provide administrative support to three attorneys and others as needed.

  • Handle a high volume of written work, including scanning, editing, reviewing, proofreading and drafting of contracts and correspondence.

  • Answer and screen phone calls, maintain calendars, schedule appointments (including telephone conference calls and video conferencing) and coordinate meetings when needed.

  • Log and keep track of contract work and update status and reports.

  • Prepare expense reports, make travel arrangements and itineraries as needed.

  • Balance multiple projects with strict deadlines.

  • Other duties as assigned.



  • 3+ years of legal administrative experience at a law firm in a corporate/transactional department or an in-house legal department

  • Must have experience redlining documents using MS Word

  • High level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Lexis and internet research tools and multiple software programs. Knowledge of Autonomy is a plus.

  • High degree of organization, attention to detail and maintenance of confidentiality

  • Possess excellent administrative, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

  • Positive attitude with all levels of staff
