CBS Entertainment Law department seeks experienced Administrative Assistant to support several Attorneys in a fast paced, team oriented environment. This is not a paralegal position.
Provide administrative support to three attorneys and others as needed.
Handle a high volume of written work, including scanning, editing, reviewing, proofreading and drafting of contracts and correspondence.
Answer and screen phone calls, maintain calendars, schedule appointments (including telephone conference calls and video conferencing) and coordinate meetings when needed.
Log and keep track of contract work and update status and reports.
Prepare expense reports, make travel arrangements and itineraries as needed.
Balance multiple projects with strict deadlines.
Other duties as assigned.
3+ years of legal administrative experience at a law firm in a corporate/transactional department or an in-house legal department
Must have experience redlining documents using MS Word
High level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Lexis and internet research tools and multiple software programs. Knowledge of Autonomy is a plus.
High degree of organization, attention to detail and maintenance of confidentiality
Possess excellent administrative, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with all levels of staff
