DESCRIPTION:

Duties involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of broadcast equipment such as field and studio cameras, switchers, audio consoles, servers, microwave and satellite receive equipment.

We are looking for an all-around maintenance engineer who can troubleshoot systems as well as individual pieces of equipment. Job duties may include anything from building cables to configuring routers or HD encoders. Good company, big operation, and a fun place to work with lots of live news and entertainment programming.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install new equipment and document signal flow and wiring

  • Perform alignment and repairs of equipment

  • Troubleshoot broadcast systems

  • Assist studio and field crews with operations as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

2 or 4 year degree in Electronic Technology or related major.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in equipment installation and maintenance at a television broadcast facility.

Strong background in areas of broadcast hardware, software and experience with a digital plant.

Must be a team player and a self starter.
