CBS Enterprise Program Delivery (EPD) team is hiring a Test Automation Analyst to assist project teams with test planning (requirements analysis and writing test scripts) for Functional, System, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing. You will also assist with test execution and documentation of test results as required. In addition, you will learn how to leverage Ranorex, the software used for test automation at CBS, to automate test cases where possible. The Test Automation Analyst will learn the applications that support CBS products and operational processes, and will have the opportunity to work with both IT and business personnel to build automated repeatable test sets that can be re-used as needed.
Prepare test cases based on captured business and technical requirements
Create and execute test scripts, evaluate test results and document defects as required
Prepare and execute automated tests per the test plan and also log, track and validate defect resolution
Work in a team environment and collaborate across functional areas
Prepare the required reports to communicate testing status for one or more IT Projects based on the assigned testing efforts
Look for opportunities to leverage Ranorex, CBS Standard Test Automation tool to automate test cases to reduce manual test execution time
Schedule team meetings, capture meeting meetings and manage issues, action items list
Assist with troubleshooting issues and train end users as needed based on test execution schedule
Understand system functionality and impact to overall system, downstream and upstream based on assigned IT project
Adhere to the testing methodology and complete testing efforts based on required quality standards
Perform customary administrative tasks and responsibilities.
Other assignments or special projects as requested by management
Effective verbal and written communication skills required
Knowledge of information technology and interest in Systems Analysis and Project Delivery
0-2 years experience in Software Testing (automation exposure preferred)
Organized and familiar with the Microsoft Office suite and Visio
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Strong client service orientation and an ability to absorb concepts quickly
A self motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, managing multiple priority tasks effectively
Team player with solid interpersonal relationship skills
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business (Accounting/Finance/Economics). Graduate Degree is a plus.
