DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic colleague to join our HR team as Senior Director of Talent Acquisition in either Burbank, CA, San Francisco, CA or New York, NY. This role leads an engaged group of talented recruiters, sourcers, talent coordinators and university relations professionals in providing exceptional TA support to the business. Your Day-to-Day:

Oversee our amazing team of 10+ professionals as they deliver exemplary talent acquisition support as follows:

  • Strategy and Leadership

  • Ensure our newly launched (and required!) structured/behavioral-based interviewing strategy delivers exceptional results and service levels across all key stakeholders (candidates, hiring managers, HR business partners), and across all domestic and international locations

  • Lead, develop and motivate a team of exceptional TA professionals in attracting, recruiting, and hiring outstanding talent, as well as ensuring excellence in all parts of the employee lifecycle (e.g. Interview scheduling, new hire onboarding, relocation, immigration, and legal requirements)

  • Strategically communicates with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders on TA trends and dashboards

  • Recruiting Systems, Technologies & Partnerships:

  • Increase our capabilities by continuously assessing recruiting processes, roles, technologies, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Partner with internal analytics team to capitalize on data to improve recruiter/sourcer productivity and SLAs

  • Serve as a liaison to our MSP (ZeroChaos) of contingent workers

  • Candidate and Manager Experience

  • Enhance Candidate Experience across all locations by coordinating with inter-office partners, managing NPS surveys, and implementing improvements based on survey results

  • Identify and implement additional initiatives that improve candidate experience, including programs that help set-up candidates for success as well as support relationships with candidates in talent pipeline

  • Drive effectiveness and efficiency in overall manager experience by identifying areas for greater consistency, and by supporting managers with their recruiting-related SLAs

  • University Relations & Diversity Recruiting

  • Manage University Relations Program Manager who oversees Internship, and Entry level Pipeline Programs committed to diversity hiring

  • Support Program Manager in enhancing diversity recruiting efforts by assessing efficacy of existing and potential/new partnerships

Key Projects:

Within your first year you will have dramatically impacted the Talent Acquisition function in several areas, including the following:

  • Scaling the new ‘Structured Interview’ approach by providing enhanced tools, additional training, and ongoing improvements - especially for technical/functional interviews and international candidates

  • Designing and launching creative, new branding initiatives that continue to improve the candidate experience

  • Driving continuous improvements of the ATS system via enhancements in the portals, expanded reporting features, and additional tools for the international recruitment teams

  • Identifying and implementing new technologies to continue to enhance the team’s efficacy in branding, sourcing, scheduling, and candidate skills assessment

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

  • 7+ years of Talent Acquisition experience

  • 5+ years of people management experience

  • BA/BS Degree in Human Resources Management or related field

You might also have -

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large projects and facilitate group meetings

  • Current knowledge of federal, state and local employment and immigration practices and labor laws

  • Solid understanding on how to leverage and maximize ATS/system technologies, Google mail/calendaring, MS office suite, and social media

  • Avature ATS experience a plus

  • Experience in the launch and optimization of processes and programs designed to continuously improve service delivery

  • Exemplary relationship building skills and the ability to quickly form partnerships across all levels of the organization
