The Network Engineering team at CBS Interactive is a highly talented and experienced team supporting fabric and traditional networks in both the office and data centers.
As a member of the CBS Interactive Network Engineering team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining tools that provide connectivity, security and stability to the CBSi Network.
In this role, you will be responsible for building, creating, operating and writing services for automation, monitoring and tools that run the production network. A self starter to provide innovative solutions to optimize and scale the CBSi Global Network.
This role will work in close collaboration with other engineering teams and a qualified candidate should be well versed with current network and cloud technologies, customer focused, good work ethic, team player and an excellent communicator.
Working closely with other Dev and SecOps teams to standardize on coding practices and toolsets.
Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions
Provide cloud connectivity and self service automation for a variety of services.
- Building software and systems for automated deployment, management, and monitoring
What you bring to the team:
You have -
B.S. degree in a computer, physical sciences or engineering related discipline.
Experience with programming languages, like Python/Ansible and automation via Bash/shell scripting
Knowledge of Juniper, Cisco or Foundry.
Knowledge of Linux administration
Knowledge of virtualized and containerized environments (VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes)
You might also have -
Understanding of protocols, such as BGP, ISIS, IPv6, SNMP, NetFlow, etc.
Experience with GCP, AWS or Azure Cloud operations
Experience with CI/CD and Configuration Management
