DESCRIPTION:

Division Overview:

Our Marketing, Distribution & Operations team within the CBS Digital Media group is charged with distribution and monetization of premium CBS content across the spectrum of digital partnerships and business models. We are a diverse and agile group that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and partnering with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we deliver CBS content to consumers, however and wherever they want to consume it.

Brands you will work on include CBS All Access, CBS Sports, CNET Media Group, Roadshow, CNET En Español, GameSpot and more. They all include 24/7 interactive streaming news network delivering celebrity, pop culture, lifestyle content, breaking news and premium video.

Role Details:

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Contest & Promotions Coordinator to provide sound execution of prize fulfillment for contests, sweepstakes and promotional events across CBSi properties. The ideal candidate will work closely with Legal and Prize Management teams, maintaining strict confidentiality to ensure effective processing of sensitive documents within company guidelines. This role will be based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Take ownership of issues and drive sensible resolution in adherence to prize/contest rules and regulations. Must be results-oriented and ensure issues are effectively communicated to appropriate parties throughout the corporation in a timely fashion.

  • Strive to ensure a positive user experience for all who engage in the prize redemption process for contests, sweepstakes and/or promotions.

  • Coordinate and monitor promotional events, contests and sweepstakes across website properties. Assure that proprietary and other sensitive information is handled with utmost confidentiality.

  • Implement complete prize fulfillment tasks which include: winner(s) selection and clearance, winner notification at each prize level, affidavit of eligibility verification, notification of needed document requirements for prize redemption such as W9/E8 forms where applicable,coordination and third-party collaboration to secure effective prize distribution to winners, promotional items where applicable and travel & accommodation arrangements as needed.

  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding Contests & Sweepstakes and/or Promotions.

  • Monitor/Process Merchant Processing and American Express web portals to respond to Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal chargeback notifications.

  • Provide support for Customer Care back-office work e.g. terms of use customer inquiries, privacy policy, etc.

Key Projects:

  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and Product Teams to coordinate contests, sweepstakes and/or promotions for various CBS Interactive properties. Will communicate, both written and verbal, with different levels of the organization

  • Deliver Customer Care training for upcoming seasonal and/or promotional events to assist incoming inquiries from customers if any.

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have -

  • Be familiar with official rules, local, state, federal and provincial regulations.

  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal communication).

  • Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new computer systems.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently.

  • A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and with high quality.
