DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of this position are to prepare production and Corporate bank account reconciliations on a monthly basis, as well as, providing support to Production for various banking requests. These requests may include: ordering check stock, handling stop payments and payment verifications.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Review bank statement activity on production and Corporate bank accounts.

  • Review and analyze journal entries impacting bank accounts including production accounting interface feeds and Treasury journal entries.

  • Prepare domestic and foreign production bank account reconciliations.

  • Prepare domestic Corporate bank account reconciliations.

  • Distribute bank account reconciliations to appropriate division personnel for review in a timely manner in order to meet SOX deadline requirement.

  • Scan and save approved bank reconciliations to the appropriate folder in a timely manner in order to meet SOX deadline requirement.

  • Review bank accounts for inactive / dormant accounts that should be closed.

  • Order checks for divisional bank accounts.

  • Coordinate stop payment processing, and payment verification with bank and finance personnel.

  • Save weekly activity statements from foreign bank accounts to appropriate folder for Production.

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation status report and quarterly Over Six Month Stale Dated report.

  • Prepare miscellaneous monthly journal entries as needed.

  • Filing as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance

Proficiency with Word, Excel, and internet software

Desired skills:

Knowledge of Oracle and other accounting systems highly desirable

Self-motivated, self-starter

Good communication skills

Must be detail oriented

Good analytic and research skills

Organization skills extremely helpful
