DESCRIPTION:

CBS Television Network Operations and Engineering is looking for students to join our Summer 2019 STEM Internship Program. Interns will spend 6 weeks with Information Technology, 2 weeks with a different department of interest and 1 week with finance.

  • Collaborate with IT department: manage servers, physical connectivity, power management

  • Assist department in providing support to studio employees from daily network, applications and operations

  • Provide end-to-end wired and wireless devices connectivity and special network set up

  • Additional projects as assigned

  • Assist department in providing support to production clients with their private secured network segments setup and configuration

  • Assist with hardware and software testing phase before deployment

  • Assign incident requests

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • *

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the internship.

  • Information Technology / MIS majors preferred.

  • Passion for IT and interest in the entertainment industry.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication skills.
