The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide support to the Director, as well as, assist in supervising Analysts with their daily, monthly and quarterly responsibilities.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Review and sign-off bank reconciliations for domestic and foreign production bank accounts, and domestic corporate bank accounts.
Interact with Production Accounting, in conjunction with Analysts, to help resolve any bank reconciliation issues.
Review and approve stop payments.
Review and approve check orders.
Review / update quarterly over 6-Month Stale Dated report.
Review and post journal entries for daily Treasury transactions, intercompany transfers (legal, benefits, insurance, etc.), payroll, residual, and other miscellaneous transactions.
Review / reconcile IC Corp. GL balance to corporate transfer (TR) report for accuracy, and make sure monthly reconciliation is submitted to Corp.
Confirm intercompany balances with all divisions - CED, CTN-NY, CGDG, and Corp.
Coordinate the payment of Construction in Progress invoices, and prepare monthly reconciliation of Fixed Assets.
Prepare monthly forecast, and actual Capital Expenditures schedule.
Prepare Below-the-Line depreciation forecast and budget schedule and submit to Planning.
Submit Statistical monthly forecast, and quarterly actual.
Review and submit monthly actual Intercompany PnL and Balance Sheet through Oracle. Make sure submission details are sent to Corp. Finance team after the submission process is complete.
Monthly reconciliation / review of Residual clearing account.
Monthly reconciliation / review of Balance Sheet Cash Detail.
Agree CORAL note and accrued interest balance with Tim Faco via email.
Submission of quarterly Roll Forward schedules through Oracle - PP&E, Goodwill, Inventory, A/R Allowance, Equity investments, Debt (ST & LT), Shareholders’ Equity.
Preparation of quarterly Lease Commitment schedule.
Quarterly allocation of EP handling fees.
Prepare various quarterly and year-end reporting requests.
Adhoc reporting and special requests.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance, with 2-3+ years of comprehensive accounting experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook)
Experience with Oracle general ledger software, and Cognos software preferred.
Experience in Entertainment industry finance preferred
