DESCRIPTION:

The CBS Television Network Internship Program is designed to provide students with exposure to various departments within the television/entertainment industry. The On-Air Promotions intern will work closely with the department to:

  • Complete projects on the DAM (digital asset management) system.

  • Provide office support to department coordinators and assistants.

  • Provide general support to the creative team (e.g. transcribing episodes, logging media, etc).

  • Assist with locating media and sending streaming videos.

  • Use NLE (non-linear editing) software to fulfill media requests for editing and viewing purposes.

  • Additional projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university.

  • Have knowledge and/or experience in post-production and an interest in the entertainment industry.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google Apps.

  • Advanced experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.

  • Editing experience is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
