The CBS Television Network Internship Program is designed to provide students with exposure to various departments within the television/entertainment industry. The On-Air Promotions intern will work closely with the department to:

  • Upload media and/or metadata to department DAM (digital asset management) system

  • Order and facilitate the delivery of stock footage

  • Use NLE (non-linear editing) software to fulfill media requests for editing and viewing purposes

  • Order and facilitate the delivery of stock footage

  • Locate media and send streaming video links to executives and other creative personnel

  • Provide general support to creative team (e.g., transcribing episodes, logging media, etc.)

  • Provide general office support to department coordinators and assistants

  • Inventory/reorganize technical and office storage facilities

  • Additional projects as assigned.


  • Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the internship.

  • Have knowledge and/or experience in post-production and an interest in the entertainment industry.

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google Apps.

  • Advanced experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.

  • Editing experience is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
