DESCRIPTION:

  • Prepare monthly network revenue, AR & deferred revenue schedules, as well as quarterly supplemental rollforward schedules

  • Perform monthly reconciliation & closing, maintain customers log in billing system (TREC)

  • Prepare monthly & quarterly reconciliations for cash, AR & prepaid

  • Prepare AR package & related party AR reports for various stakeholders

  • Prepare monthly & quarterly variance analysis for AR & inventory

  • Prepare journal entries necessary to close, including accruals, cash & revenue

  • Apply cash in billing system, maintain cash receipts log for network & misc. cash receipts

  • Fulfil internal & external audit requests & provide other supporting schedules

  • Record revenue & expenses for co-produced shows & streaming services

  • Perform control testing to ensure SOX compliance

  • Ad-hoc reporting & special projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, entertainment industry is a plus

  • Advanced Excel skills, knowledge in SQL

  • Working knowledge of MS Office

  • Experience with Oracle & Cognos

  • Interpersonal & communication skills

  • Attention to detail with ability to multitask

  • Strong time management & organization skills
