Seeking a dynamic Sales Director to lead our regional sales, based out of our Manhattan Beach office in California. The Sales Director reports directly to the SVP, Sales and Business Development of Givewith who sits in the NY office.
S/he will be responsible for developing and executing Sales and New Business Development strategies, growing revenues, developing and sustaining high level relationships with consumer clients, agencies, and media owners/publishers.
Developing a strong pipeline, building relationships, closing business, and scaling revenue will be at the core of the remit. Work with the SVP, Sales and Business Development to develop sales strategy and revenue forecasts. Deliver on sales goals. Develop and maintain senior customer relationships. Support in all areas relating to clients and campaigns.
Develop a comprehensive plan to drive revenue by selling Givewith technology and services to key clients and their agencies.
Understand and effectively communicate the Givewith value proposition, technology, processes, and partnerships as they relate to the growth of current and prospective client accounts.
Partner with clients to understand strategic needs and deliver programs that simultaneously drive financial performance and maximize social impact.
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in Givewith.
Identify prospects, produce and deliver bespoke partnerships, close significant, complex deals.
Develop and sustain high-level customer relationships, providing a true consultative sales experience.
Identify opportunities for additional revenue streams or lines of business within prospective and existing accounts.
Maintain a high volume of face-to-face client and agency meetings.
Develop and maintain relationships with publishers and media owners, partnering with publisher sales teams to assist with the development of new revenue initiatives and ideas.
Work collaboratively with all levels of Givewith staff in the Sales, Strategy, Operations, Creative and Programs teams.
Participate in creation of sales collateral and presentations. Lead effective dissemination of information and brand positioning externally.
Manage the accurate reporting of all sales activity and revenues within the Salesforce account management system, giving all Givewith functions visibility and transparency into the pipeline.
Work with the SVP, Sales and Business development to plan, report, analyze and forecast revenue performance.
Have an interest in Corporate Social Responsibility, the non-profit sector, and the social-impact landscape overall.
Leverage, expand and disseminate knowledge of the digital media industry.

10+ years media sales, with strong background in digital media
Position is based in California, with domestic US travel required
Candidate must be able to think strategically, anticipate how buying decisions are made, uncover the business needs of key clients and have a proven ability to close deals
Experience building and executing sales strategies, individually and across a team
Ability to sell conceptually and consultatively and to clients directly
Solid, client-direct relationships with wide variety of clients and industries
Solid relationships within the agency space
Experience managing complex partnerships
Strong understanding of the digital media landscape and industry challenges such as viewability, mobile display advertising, programmatic trading, social media, audience data, native advertising, and tracking / measurement solutions
Attention to detail in proposals and rate calculations
Ability to think creatively and proven track record in ideation
Adaptable in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
Good communicator, externally and internally, upwards and downwards
Salesforce and Keynote skills very advantageous
