DESCRIPTION:

Enforcement of copyrights and trademark rights for all CBS divisions including CBS Broadcasting, CBS Studios, CBS Interactive, CBS Sports, Showtime Networks, Simon & Schuster, with emphasis on digital content and digital sales platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Use enforcement tools and manual searches to detect unauthorized uses of CBS content;

  • Assist in responding to inquiries and concerns from clients at the CBS divisions;

  • Draft and submitting notices of infringement, using platform forms to report rights infringements;

  • Keep accurate records related to notices sent and received.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university;

  • Strong organizational skills;

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and internet applications;

  • Ability to multi-task and handle a steady stream of assignments; and

  • Communicates well and completes assignments in a timely and efficient manner.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with internet investigations, social media and copyrights

  • Interest in the general practical applications of the legal field, particularly rights enforcement

  • Experience with rights enforcement of music, books, films or television

  • Enthusiasm for new technology and "Star Trek", "CSI:" and other CBS Series
