Duties: Implement quality logical and physical ETL designs to meet operational and project requirements. This will include the implementation of sound architecture, design, and development standards. Design optimal data transformation (ETL) jobs and manage technical metadata across all jobs. Develop and deploy ETL job workflow with reliable error/exception handling and rollback framework. Serve as the single resource responsible for construction of all objects necessary within the Data Warehouse and/or analytics platforms. Develop interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions. Manage automation of file processing, as well as all ETL processes within a job workflow. Ensure data quality throughout entire ETL process. Interact with other project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions. Present technical information in easily understood terms in both verbal and written form. Work closely with fellow IT staff and project management to document standards and procedures for the definition of reference architectures (architecture roadmap).


Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or Information Technology. Must have three years of experience in Information Technology. The three years of experience must include experience with data warehouse solutions; ETL tools, such as Informatica Power Center; Teradata packages, stored procedures, and triggers; Oracle SQL (DML & DDL), PL/SQL, and packages; business requirements and technical requirements documentation review; high and low level design documentation; writing re-usable unit test documents; developing, unit testing, and break/fix support of Informatica ETL; performance tuning, query plan/explain plan analysis, indexing, and table partitioning; version control/source code management tools; and the full software development lifecycle.
