Assist with the design, development, management and review of the Corporation’s compliance program and standards. Provide advice and counseling to CBS Corporation and its business units on compliance related issues. Work with all levels within the Corporation to ensure that Compliance risks are understood, managed and effectively prioritized. Assist with the development, implementation and oversight of compliance training across the Corporation. Conduct live training sessions as needed. Monitor the compliance e-mail and telephonic accounts. Supervise or directly conduct (when needed) investigations of potential compliance related violations. Develop, maintain and revise compliance policies, procedures and practices in order to satisfy legal requirements and minimize identified risks. Work with cross-departmental representatives company-wide.


  • JD with current State Bar Admission.

  • 4-6 years of legal experience in litigation, labor and employment or white collar.

  • Legal experience at a mid to large sized law firm

  • Working knowledge of SOX, Dodd-Frank, the FCPA, FCC regulatory standards, the UK Bribery Act and other compliance related legal statutes and best practices.

  • Outstanding advocacy, presentation, communication (oral and written) and investigatory skills.

  • Highly-motivated, self-directed, willing to take initiative and team-oriented.

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment handling multiple competing tasks simultaneously to closure.
