DESCRIPTION:

The Billing Analyst, Multiplatform Distribution (MPD) will be responsible for the Invoicing and Financial Analysis for MPD’s media workloads. The Billing Analyst will work with various internal stakeholders, including media specialists, managers, and external departments, to catch, resolve and document servicing and purchase order budget discrepancies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create invoice backup to bill for department services from client purchase orders or contracts on a monthly basis for management review.

  • Validate billing rates against internal work orders and client purchase orders to confirm accurate billing.

  • Maintain guidelines and procedures for accurate phasing of orders.

  • Ensure that all purchase orders and contracts are invoiced in full

  • Provide support for their management for monthly estimate analysis and annual budgets.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • A passion for accounting, media and entertainment is a must

  • A background in the media & entertainment industry relating to digital video and audio, and, multimedia formats.

  • 2+ years of experience with accounts payable/receivable practices, accounting or budgeting

  • Excellent teamwork, written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task under shifting deadlines within a fast-paced environment

  • Self-motivated, team player who is results-oriented

  • Must have computer skills to be trained on multiple proprietary programs as well as all office suite programs.

  • The ability to work independently with minimal oversight

  • Willingness to learn fundamental elements of cloud based concepts

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred
