JOB TYPE: Full-Time Staff




Work with media team on day-to-day operations pertaining to acquisition media for Showtime across various platforms with an emphasis on the standalone app and direct-to-consumer services.

  • Acquisition Media Responsibilities:

  • Absorb and take part in all aspects of media planning, including but not limited to: targeting, strategy development, tactical plan creation and review, execution, optimization, and reporting.

  • Compile team’s plan feedback and communicate to appropriate external partners.

  • Maintain, consolidate, and update campaign flowcharts.

  • Assist Supervisor in evaluating all weekly optimization recommendations and performance updates.

  • Provide performance updates to internal teams.

  • Create realistic timelines with internal marketing teams and agencies in order to ensure an on-time campaign launch.

  • Maintain clean, highly organized files of all planning, performance, reporting, and proposal documents.

  • Craft clean, creative, and visual representations of vast amounts of data.

  • Track competitive intelligence and industry shifts, drawing relevant implications and learnings for the business.

  • Financial Responsibilities

  • Assist Supervisor/Sr. Manager with department financial and billing responsibilities in a timely and organized manner:

  • Maintain very organized, clear records of all adjustments made throughout the year.

  • Assist senior team members with managing long range financial documents related to advertising spend, including: media budget charts for monthly and quarterly spend, spending by channel, etc.

  • Team Administrative Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule all team meetings with SHO departments, agencies, and external key partners.

  • Organize and maintain clean digital and physical records of all key documents.

  • Set up all presentations and ensure all materials needed are received in advance if necessary.

  • Update team process documents regularly and keep teams up to speed on any structural changes.

  • Understand intricacies of all project timelines and effectively set expectations for timing of deliverables across internal Showtime teams and external agency partners.


  • Entry level position, related internship experience

  • Great attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and comfort managing important financial documents.

  • Collaborative nature, strong work ethic, and Microsoft suite proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

  • Exceptional communicator, including written, verbal, presentation and listening skills.

  • Interest in analyzing data and using it to illustrate a marketing story.

  • Passion for the entertainment space and Showtime programming
