DESCRIPTION:

Position will provide excellent customer service to major internal and external clients pertaining to the distribution of nationally syndicated TV programs. They will work closely with production companies, closed captioning (CC) vendors, promo departments, and internal scheduling, technical, and billing departments to ensure air dates are met.

Daily responsibilities include scheduling of CC sessions, data entry and integration of scheduled commercials, content review, communication with various companies to work towards assembly/distribution of completed programs. They will utilize software applications to input, maintain, and schedule managed linear satellite distributions (currently TM & Formatic for Pitch Blue). They will also transcode and send files to clients using products such as Telestream Vantage and Aspera. This position is also client-facing so regular communication with customers is necessary. Recent college grads with interest in television operations welcome to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • College Degree

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Preferred:

  • Demonstrates sense of urgency

  • Demonstrates good time management skills (assignment juggling)

  • Positive attitude; motivation to provide results

  • Good verbal/email communication skills

  • Must be flexible to work afternoon to evening shifts
