CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft. Worth), KPIX-TV and KBCW-TV (San Francisco), WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV (Boston), WUPA-TV (Atlanta), WWJ-TV and WKBD-TV (Detroit), KSTW-TV (Seattle), WTOG-TV (Tampa-St. Petersburg), WCCO-TV (Minneapolis), KCNC-TV (Denver), WFOR-TV and WBFS-TV (Miami), KOVR-TV and KMAX-TV (Sacramento), KDKA-TV and WPCW-TV (Pittsburgh), WJZ-TV (Baltimore), as well as WCCO-TV’s satellite stations KCCO-TV (Alexandria, Minn.) and KCCW-TV (Walker, Minn.).


The CBS Television Stations division is seeking a senior sales executive with experience in the network short form (direct response) advertising space. This position will oversee sales of the CBS O&O Audience Network. Candidate will sell, manage and develop pricing for all sales inventory for the Audience Network. The ideal candidate will have established relationships with clients and ad agencies specifically in the national direct response marketplace.

The CBS O&O Audience Network is an aggregated reach of all 27 stations that CBS owns and delivers a network ad sales solution for clients. The Audience Network reaches 17 of the nation’s top 26 TV markets in over 45M US households.


The position includes the following duties:

  • Generate network budgeted direct response ad revenue for the CBS O&O Audience Network.

  • Maintain and grow current Audience Network advertisers.

  • Manage individual quarterly and annual Audience Network budgets.

  • Provide detailed forecasting and maintain pipeline of direct response advertisers.

  • Manage inventory and direct the traffic hub on Audience Network operations.

  • Produce sales collateral including client presentations.

Candidate must be able to work with sales management and account executives and manage information from multiple departments including national and local sales, research, CBS corporate, CBS local stations and other divisions within CBS. Position reports to Senior Vice President of Revenue Strategy.
