Responsibilities: Freelance Production Assistant (PA) for CBS News broadcasts and Special Reports. Work with Directors, Producers and Graphics Operators to ensure that the proper graphics are prepared, ready and available to air during broadcasts. Ability to work in fast-paced environment and to multi-task under pressure a must. Strong communications and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to work flexible hours and/or weekends. This position is in the NY Broadcast Center and is covered by the Directors Guild of America.
Education: College graduate with a BA or BS degree or degree in Television production.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience as a Production Assistant in a News environment preferred. Live and taped broadcast experience, graphic production.
