DESCRIPTION:

Intern responsibilities will include some or all of the following activities/assignments:

Incident Response (detection, analysis, response)

Automating response procedures

Assistance in setting up IR and Forensics Lab

Assistance in planning social engineering exercises for organization

Working with Threat Intel team on vulnerability discovery

Short introductions to all other groups within Information Security Group

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

Currently attending an accredited college

Over 18 years of age.

A GPA of 3.0 or above in their major courses is required

Experience in some of the following: Java, Shell Scripting, C, C++, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Web/Mobile Apps, Python, JIRA, MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL server, Linux, Windows, Mac etc

Preferred:

Incident Response Best Practices

Security Certifications similar to CEH, CompTIA Security+ etc

Familiarity with online Info Sec tools such as SWIFT/Kali/Other SANS tools

Scripting abilities
