CBS is in search for a lawyer with 3-5 years of experience who has strong writing, research, analytical and interpersonal skills. The position will include drafting and negotiating agreements, such as marketing, distribution, production, rights acquisition, technology and nondisclosure agreements, as well as other duties as determined by management.
JD degree from accredited law school; excellent academic credentials
Member of the New York Bar
3-5 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house at a media company
Superior writing and oral communication skills
Possess excellent negotiating, analytical, drafting and interpersonal skills
Superior work ethic, well organized and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously
Experience regarding technology, intellectual property, and digital media transactions preferred
