We are looking for a manager to oversee paid media strategy and investment in the OTT channel across multiple streaming products, namely CBS All Access, CBSN and ET Live. The ideal candidate has a passion for the digital media landscape and understands the intricacies and unique attributes of every step in the marketing funnel. The successful candidate will bring a highly analytical, creative, and flexible growth mindset to the role, which will be critical to delivering breakthrough thinking for this channel.
Campaign management: Plan, build and execute OTT media campaigns for CBS All Access, CBSN and ET Live by working with external partners to determine media plans and deliver campaign materials.
Reporting: Maintain and report on partner marketing initiatives across on- and off-device channels. Develop insights on campaign optimization and provide recommendations on overall campaign to determine best strategies/tactics for driving performance to meet KPI goals.
Budget tracking: Build and maintain paid media expense forecast doc across all platform partners. Collect and track all invoices and IOs to actualize monthly spend. Use partner marketing reporting insights to advise on budget allocation across initiatives.
Develop OTT paid media strategy for new live stream channel launches to drive acquisition and engagement against target market
Launch multiple new CBS AA original series and marquee live tent pole sporting events
Develop robust testing agenda to inform toolkit of digital marketing best practices
What you bring to the team:
You have -
Multiple year experience in digital performance marketing
Excellent communication skills, effective in person, over email and on conference calls; can easily "run the meeting"
Must be familiar with performance marketing tactics and KPI terminology (i.e. funnel optimization, conversion, eCPA, LTV, return on ad spend)
Ability to turn data into stories. You’re able to distill complicated concepts and explain them to senior level executives and team members alike.
Power user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
You might also have -
Understanding of statistics and testing methodologies
Knowledge of digital marketing - programmatic, RTB, paid social, paid search
Familiarity with direct to consumer, entertainment or sports marketing preferred.
