The Analyst, Research is part of the newly formed specialty research team that supports the marketing, media and brand strategy teams. This role also touches primary research for corporate sales and revenue driving teams.


  • Work closely with the Director, Research in leading, to support insights and analytics for the CBS marketing team (paid marketing, promo placement and social media)

  • Consumer insights and analytics to drive new thinking, drive innovation and prove effectiveness of paid, earned and owned marketing efforts

  • Continual focus on insights around how to evolve the CBS brand and chart new paths to get there

  • Innovate ways of using existing syndicated tools to uncover new potential targets and develop personas

  • Creative approaches to applying data in building stories for Sales & Marketing.



  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience; media agency experience preferred

  • A deep knowledge of MRI, Simmons data bases, as well as working knowledge/familiarity with Nielsen and comScore

  • Motivated self-starter with an ability to story-tell using various data sets

  • Adept at accessing syndicated research tools which is critical for success in this role

  • Excellent written and presentation design skills, with the ability to explain research results in a non-data driven way- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
